What do I need to run the Server tier?
A cloud VPS with a modern Linux, PHP 8.5, MySQL 8 and nginx or Apache. If those words mean nothing to you, that is fine — a partner studio installs and sets it up for a one-off fee, and hosting companies that work with the platform offer VPS plans with it preinstalled. Normally the machine is your own and stays your infrastructure; buying hosting from the platform side is an extra option, not the basis of the arrangement. The foundation that develops the software hosts nothing itself.
Who is the Server tier actually for?
Organisations. A company, a retail chain, a trade association, a marketplace operator — anyone who wants a space of their own with their own perimeter and their own rules about who gets an account. An individual merchant does not need it: Business already allows as many domains as the trade requires, under an ordinary panel subscription. Server is priced case by case, because what it comes to depends on what is being built.
Who owns the data and the profit?
You do. This is the founding difference between this platform and ad-funded ones: the community lives on your server, its data stays under your control, all advertising on it is sold by you, and all revenue goes to you. Nobody takes a share of what your community earns.
How do the four tiers fit together?
Start is a page or subdomain, Standard is one domain with a site and a blog on it, Business is as many domains as you like under a single control panel, and Server is the whole platform on a machine of your own, for organisations. The first three come as a subscription to the control panel, sold by a regional representative; Server is agreed case by case. The Creative tier — a fan society around books and blogs — is the Business-level equivalent on the writers' side of the platform, qwetru.com.
What is free, then?
Taking part. Registering, reading, commenting, arguing in a forum and belonging to someone else's community cost nothing, on every server, for everyone. What is paid for is creating something of your own — that is what the panel subscription covers.
What can a community be about?
Anything people gather around: an online store with its blog and forums, a writer publishing books chapter by chapter with a fan society, an online magazine, a hobby with galleries and discussions. The same engine powers all of it — you enable the parts you need.
How is content optimized?
Twice over. The platform generates clean structure, sitemaps and metadata that search engines rank — and text that language models can read and quote correctly. The admin panel uses AI to create content, plan promotion and read your statistics from search consoles and analytics; tokens for it come with the subscription from the Standard tier upward, and are bought as needed at Start.
Can I look before committing to anything?
Yes. Look at the live examples, browse the template showcase, and register as a reader on a community server — that part costs nothing. When you want a site of your own, or an installation for your organisation, write to us.
